Join the authors for a Book Party and Discussion of "Our Veterans: Winners, Losers, Friends, and Enemies on the New Terrain of Veterans Affairs" on Monday, September 12, at 5:30 PM at Still North Books & Bar, 3 Allen St. Hanover, NH

The New York Times Book Review just hailed Our Veterans as a "chilling account of the physical, economic, and psychological consequences of military service on veteran health and a critical look at the many players involved in shaping veteran life in the United States."

Speakers will include healthcare reformers, local labor activists and advocates and VA care-givers for veterans, along with Our Veterans co-authors: Suzanne Gordon, co-founder of the Veterans Healthcare Policy Institute and author of many books, including, Wounds of War: How the VA Delivers Health, Healing, and Hope to the Nation's Veterans.

Steve Early, a longtime CWA organizer in New England, co-founder of Labor for Bernie, and the author of four previous books about labor and politics.

Jasper Craven. a freelance journalist and Vermont native who has reported on military and veterans affairs for many publications. Jasper is a graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy and Boston University.
