Now is the perfect time to join the St. Johnsbury Band. We have just finished our fun but somewhat hectic summer concert series and are now in rehearsal for a Veterans Day and Holiday concerts. Experience the fun of playing and performing a concert where everyone is playing together and you are part of that moment!
Rehearsals are Monday evenings and start promptly at 6:30. Please email or call ahead so we are expecting you. Plan on arriving about 6:15 so you have time to get situated.
All that is required are basic music reading skills and a concert type instrument. You should also be current on your COVID shots. You can make personal rehearsal copies of music to work on over the Holidays if desired. We will start our 2023 season January 16th.
The band plays a wide range of music from historic marches to show tunes and musicals or pieces that feature a section or two. We buy in new music and also have a very extensive music library. Let our conductors know what you would like to play. Membership in the band is free and many find it very rewarding.
