Sunday, June 22, 2 pm, Free!

The Alliance Française of the Lake Champlain Region presents (in English) an examination of the recent provincial elections in Québec, a crushing defeat for the separatist Parti Québécois. Roger Léger of Montreal is an educator, author, and producer who has lived the full journey of the 'Quiet Revolution' that has lifted Québec from economic and political domination by the Canadian anglo majority since the close of World War II. He is also a founding member of our local Chapter of the Alliance.

Join us in the Fletcher Room of the Fletcher Free Library, 235 College Street, Burlington, at 2 PM on Sunday, June 22, for this unique opportunity to understand the historical context of Québec's political situation today, to share your questions, and to explore the implications for Vermont-Québec relations going forward. Free!
