The next Wards 2 & 3 Neighborhood Planning Assembly is Thursday, Sept. 8 with a back-to-school theme and special Community Dinner at the ONE Community Center, 20 Allen St. Community Dinner is served 5:30-6:15pm and the NPA meeting starts at 6:30pm in-person and on Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/97707959577.
This month's agenda includes a memorial recognition of local advocate and NPA steering committee member Tony Reddington, a presentation and discussion about Burlington High School construction and funding, and information about the next round of NPA Community Grants (Oct. 6 application deadline - info and application form at https://forms.gle/f3DzXGfswr64bt2eA). As always, we start with a Public Forum and end with City Council, School Commission, and State Representative and Senator updates.

This month's Community Dinner features a delicious Eritrean/Ethiopian feast by Mulu Tewelde. The hearty vegetarian meal includes lentil and vegetable dishes, along with injera, rice, and salad ($5-$15 suggested donation).
