The palette for the Plant Swap will be on the south lawn of the Chelsea Public Library on Saturday, September 3rd between 9 and 10 AM.
The first batch of plants available will be:
A few pieces of Lady's Mantle. Tiny yellow flowers. There are tons of this - if you want some, let me know and I'll leave more.
Dark blue Siberian iris. very pretty in the spring time.
Canadian Burnet. This is a really cool plant. It blossoms now (Late Aug-September) with 3 inch white spikes that bees love to snack on at the end of the season.
I also dug out a mass of bearded iris. I am 98 percent sure these iris are sky blue - the other two percent of me thinks they might be yellow. (They didn't bloom this year because they were overgrown) There will be half a dozen bags of about six bulbs each and one bag of bits that may or may not grow.
Can't wait to see what other folks bring down.
