In this introductory class you will learn how the cathartic breath becomes a vehicle for transformation and change. The connected and conscious breath is a healing tool.
At the time of an adverse experience we hold our breath or take short and shallow breaths also called "fight or flight" breathing. By releasing incomplete experiences from the body, the breath starts flowing again, and we become aware of the events that stopped or shortened our breath in the first place.
Using the therapeutic cathartic breath, we can change the way we breathe and hence affect changes in our lives. The way we breathe is the way we live our lives. In stressful times learning how to take deep breaths, for example, can change our whole situation.
By learning how to inhale and exhale correctly we release stress and toxins from the body, increase awareness and are able to feel the incredible joy of a body tingling with life-force energy and oxygen in every cell.
This workshop is designed to make you feel more and heal more as well as realize the amazing gift your body with its energy anatomy provides just by using the breath consciously.
