Discover the river animals, plants, and fish of the Stevens Branch with Barre City locals, Jim Deshler, Aquatic Biologist, and Danielle Owczarski, Natural Community Ecologist.
We'll meet on Sunday, September 11th at 10 AM. Starting at the Rotary Park Pavilion off of Parkside Terrace in Barre City, we'll slowly make our way to the cascading waterfall along the Stevens Branch. We have a few surprises in store and mysteries to solve, so bring your curiosity and a good pair of shoes! πΈπ’ππ¦¦πΏπ¦ RSVP's are appreciated, but not required.
The path is narrow and can be slippery after a rainfall before it reaches the river. To the waterfall and back is just over 1/2 mile.
In addition, mark your calendars and stay tuned for more information about our 2nd Annual Barre City River Clean-up scheduled for Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 9 AM.
