The Dam Aid summer concert series has been phenomenally successful, not only has it raised over $12,000, but hundreds of pond lovers have attended to support this critical project and enjoy fabulous music. Looking for more opportunities to join the effort and the fun? It's not too late!

Sunday, September 11th - 4-6pm: Dam Aid Concert Featuring Folk Talk Trio. Hosted by Barbara Butler at 40 N. Calais Rd, North Calais. Come enjoy beautiful gardens while being entertained by international folk troubadour Rik Palieri, CMA award-winning California songwriter and singer Patti Shannon and Vermont-based topical Americana songwriter Jason Baker. This crew has joined together to create a high energy show filled with the sound of 6 & 12 string guitars, banjo, harmonica, mandolin and Native American flute on some folk classics while accompanying each other on their original songs. Together they create a fun atmosphere that celebrates folk traditions and encourages audience participation.

Thursday, September 15th - 530-7pm: Curtis Pond Social Hour @ the Whammy Bar. Curtis Pond Fans meet every THIRD THURSDAY in July, Aug, Sept. and Oct. at the WHAMMY BAR. Join your friends or make new ones to celebrate the pond and a fun filled Summer. Enjoy a cold one or a meal and help support the Whammy Bar as the Curtis Pond Assoc. moves forward to save the dam and the pond.

Saturday, September 24th - 630pm: Nice & Naughty @ the Whammy Bar. Nice & Naughty's original music speaks to all aspects of everyday life, from whimsical to poignant, serious to silly. Accompanied by stand-up bass, guitar and pennywhistle, their exquisite harmonies are the highlight of their performance. Sometimes irreverent, but never rude, they're sure to appeal to all audiences! Band members Peg Chaffee and Cheryl Sager have been performing music for many years in various genres and bands. Their repertoire is eclectic, from touching and sentimental (nice) to saucy and suggestive (naughty). Audiences praise Nice & Naughty as "very talented and entertaining", and "great songwriters"; with "Wonderful harmonies". All tips will be generously donated to the Curtis Pond Dam Aid project.

Stay Tuned - the Curtis Pond Dam Aid fundraising team will be launching a primarily online silent auction at Fall Foliage Festival. Want to donate a piece of art, vacation stay, local service, or another item? Reach out to see if it'll be a good fit.
