With sundown creeping ever earlier and temperatures dropping, Poetry in the Park has moved indoors for the season. Thursday, September 15th at 6:oo Rochester Public Library introduces Peter Schneider, one of our local poets.

Schneider will be reading from his forthcoming book, "In the Field of Unintended Consequences" published by PB&J Books. He will feature a long poem titled "Wild Chervil" about his decades-long struggle with an invasive species familiar to many people in our area. Additionally, he will offer other shorter poems, also on local topics and end with Q&A.
Schneider's first collection, "The Map is not the Territory" was published by Anaphora Literary Press in 2018. That book is available to borrow at the Rochester Public Library and also available to purchase at Sandy's Books and Bakery in Rochester.
