The West Ferrisburgh Water Users Association (WFWUA) maintains a private water line connected to the Vergennes-Panton Water District (VPWD).
The line currently serves 60-70 households, a few dairy farms and the Button Bay State Park Campground.
WFWUA members pay 150% of the established VPWD rate for water.
WFWUA is responsible for the cost of repairing any breaks in the private line. WFWUA members are responsible for costs to repair breaks in the line from the point where they hook up to the line.
Questions to be answered at the meeting:
How much money is in the WFWAU checking account?
What is the estimated cost to repair and upgrade the existing infrastructure?
