Long Trail Day is the annual social and state-wide fundraiser that benefits the Green Mountain Club (GMC)*. After a successful Long Trail (LT) Day fundraiser last year, Addison County's local section of the GMC, the Bread Loaf Section, is helping to fundraise again this year! For a details about of our LT Day activities, go to Bread Loaf's 2022 LT Day website page:

To donate to help trails and support our team, we encourage you to find our "BreadLoaf Loafers" Team's page at this link:

Love hiking? You may choose to join a local group hike on Sept 10th. Our section's hike leaders will lead 4 different hikes on this one day, covering our entire section from Emily Proctor trailhead to the Sucker Brook trailhead. Interested in hiking with us? Look for details and leader contact information on Sept. 10 on our website's Calendar: https://www.gmcbreadloaf.org/calendar
Whether you fundraise with us, hike solo or with your own team, your dollars will help offset the increased traffic on Vermont's hiking trails, conserve land, and ensure future maintenance of the trails. More information at GMC's website: https://www.greenmountainclub.org/longtrailday
Thank you for supporting GMC and Vermont's iconic long distance hiking trail!
*GMC is the founder and maintainer of the Long Trail, the oldest long distance hiking trail in America. Established in 1910 to build this trail stretching the length of Vermont for 272 miles.
