Keep your home warmer this winter by sealing out the drafts with custom-made interior storm window inserts!
Mad River Valley and Middlesex energy committees are hosting a WindowDressers Community Build to build low-cost interior storm window inserts for local households.
We are taking orders for window inserts now, which will be assembled at the community build on October 28-November 1 at a location to be determined. Each insert kit is custom cut for your windows - volunteers will be conducting site visits over the next few weeks to take measurements. Each window insert costs $30-60 depending on size.
Order your inserts now at http://www.WindowDressers.org and we will be in touch to schedule a time to measure your windows. Each household that orders inserts is also expected to volunteer for at least one 4-hour shift during the community build.
Through a generous grant from the Mad River Valley Interfaith Council, we are also able to offer some kits free or at low cost for households in need. Please make a note in the comments section of the order form if you need financial assistance.
