This talk at the Davies Memorial Library in Lower Waterford will examine and look at scams through email and websites, social media bots, and 'click bait' to name a few. We will investigate what threats are potentially out there that compromise your system, steal information and money, and make the using of computers frustrating and unwelcoming. We will look at how to detect these negative situations and learn how to avoid them while safely using the internet and other media platforms.
