Join your local 350Burlington community as we take over the streets once again, on Friday afternoon/evening, August 29, in celebration of bike riding — a sustainable mode of transport, AND to spread the word about climate justice.
The BIKE BLAST will begin at 5:45 pm just south of the Earth Clock at Oakledge Park, where we'll pass out wearable and shareable messaging about divestment from the Fossil Fuel Industry. We'll start at 6 pm for a leisurely bike ride (with soundtrack) around Burlington, drinking in the long summer daylight. We'll end up back at our starting spot, eat pizza and talk climate activism, and watch the sun set.
