Long time local musician, Danny Coane, who plays in several groups, has put together his occasional "Bluegrass Buddies" band for a performance at Camp Meade, Middlesex this Fri Aug 26 from 5:30 - 8pm. Free, although donations accepted and appreciated to help pay the group. Food and drink vendors on site. This "Bluegrass Buddies" configuration will have Danny fronting on guitar/vocals; the great Matt Flinner on banjo/vocals; Josh Halman on mandolin/vocals and Willy Lindner on bass/vocals. The "Buddies" will be playing old-school, traditional bluegrass numbers from the 50's and 60's. NOTE: this gig can be cancelled if heavy rain, T-storms and as of today (Thurs Aug 25) there is a forecast for that. Check Camp Meade's Facebook page for info.
