Do you like dogs and wine? Join us for our first annual Picking for Pups fundraising event!
On September 10th, harvest will be in full swing and the Vineyard will be hosting a fundraiser for the local Peace Love Dawgs Rescue. Volunteers are invited to join us in picking grapes and for each tote picked during the event day, Whaleback will donate $10 to the dog rescue. 🍇
We are excited to partner with our friends at Peace Love Dawgs Rescue located in Middletown Springs, VT. This non-profit focuses on rescuing and rehabilitating adult and senior dogs saved from puppy mills and finds them wonderful forever homes throughout the Northeast.
All funds generated during and outside of this event are used to support the transport, medical fees, and ongoing care of the dogs until they are ready to be placed in their forever home.
Although not expected, participants are encouraged to donate individually if able or ask about ways to get involved. 🐶
Light refreshments will be provided for event participants. Please wear closed toed shoes and dress accordingly for the weather. While this is an event to support pups, please do not bring your dog with you to this event. Although, we always love to see photos 🙂 We hope to see you there!
