Fellow gardeners - we seek your help!

A month remaining before the Bixby Plant Sale in Vergennes on Saturday September 24! We welcome gardeners' donations of indoor cuttings and outdoor divisions. Such a simple opportunity for community support and involvement for such a worthy endeavor - our library!

There is still time to assemble donations and consider how you might help. In addition to indoor and outdoor plants, we would welcome donations of decorative planters, gently used garden tools and seeds for next season.

Several people have asked us to come and divide their outdoor plants but unfortunately, we do not have the volunteer capacity to do so. If, by chance, you are available, please let me know by separate email (off-line from the FPF) and we will do our best to connect you with a donor who can't dig! You might even get a plant or two in the process, pre-sale!

Donations days will be Thursday and Friday (9/22 and 9/23), times tbd, and we would appreciate it if donations were delivered on those days, to permit us to process, price and place your donations to best advantage.
