Emma Cook & Questionable Co. Play Music at the Riverbend

Past event
Aug 24, 2022, 7 to 9 PM

The evenings are getting cooler and the skies darkening earlier, but we still have two concerts remaining in the Music at the Riverbend series!

C'mon down this week for Emma Cook & Questionable Company for some Folk Funk to Soothe Your Soul. (And you did a great job, Brandon, in pushing the rain out in time for a show to happen last week -- even though they canceled. Looks like we need your help again to push out the rain in time for the concert this week!)

So bring your lawn chairs (and hopefully no need for an umbrella in the early part of the show), pick up dinner somewhere around town, and enjoy a drink from the Neshobe Cafe -- you can purchase beverages (including adult beverages) from the Cafe in the front of the Inn and bring them out back to enjoy with the music. (Actually going to plug this a little harder this time, since the Inn makes no money from us descending upon their lawn -- sales at the Neshobe Cafe is the only way this is at all fiscally beneficial to them.)

Thanks as always to our individual and business donors who make this all possible, to the Brandon Inn for providing such a great space for us to chill and our kids to actively play in a space free from traffic, to the bands who come out and entertain us each week, and to the audience, who make it all worthwhile.

Other concerts coming up:
Live at Kennedy Park! hosts Melissa D on Saturday, Aug 27 from 11-1

Caswell & Co. provide the final show of the 2022 Season on Aug 31 (they plan to start at 6:45 to maximize the amount of blues they can throw your way before dusk)

Live at Kennedy Park! hosts Jim Shaw on Saturday, Sept 10 from 11-1

LaKP! sponsored by Downtown Brandon Alliance
MatR sponsored by donors and the efforts of our volunteer Brandon Summer Concert Series Committee Members,
Bill, Bernie, Stacey, Wade, & George
