Wednesday, August 24 is Ukrainian Independence Day and six months since the war on Ukraine began. The US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants Vermont Field Office announced recently that 100 Ukrainian refugees will settle in Vermont over the next few months. Let's stand with our new neighbors and stand with Ukraine at Castleton's Town Hall at 8:30am on August 24 to raise the Ukrainian flag in recognition of Ukrainian independence.
