Join the Marlboro Historical Society on Saturday August 27 at 9 a.m. for a Potash Hill (formerly Marlboro College) ski trail walk led by Marlboro Nordic Ski Club executive director Spencer Knickerbocker. We will walk about one mile over undulating and steep terrain and Spencer will share some history about nordic skiing in Marlboro, including a world record set by an Olympian on South Pond, and future visions for how the Marlboro Nordic Ski Club plans to sustain skiing and grow interest in the community. The walk will meet behind Persons Auditorium on the Potash Hill campus soccer field (the Marlboro Nordic Ski Club trail head and former Marlboro College campus.) Guests can park across the street from Persons Auditorium in the dirt lot. The address is 2582 South Road, Marlboro, Vermont.
