Join Cub Scouts Night Sept. 7 at 6PM
Do you have a child that wants more adventure in their life? Come join the Cub Scout pack and Scout BSA Troop to learn more about what scouting can do for your child, and your family - and in turn what your child can learn to do for the community.
Cub Scouts (and the "older kid" Scouts BSA) accept girls and boys aged kindergarten on up. The scouting program is a supplemental education that aims to prepare youth to become community leaders through hands on learning about the outdoors, health and safety, team work, science, citizenship, history and more. We do community service, we March in parades, we camp, we hike, we play games, we launch rockets, make movies, shoot bows and arrows and BB guns, go fishing, take trips, spend the night in museums, and more.
Come talk to the parents while the scouts talk to your kids, and see if scouting is right for you.
Location is TBD but will be in Richmond either at the school, green, or somewhere else in town. More details will be posted in the next couple weeks.
