Bikes are transportation AND recreation! Imagine our streets when bikes outnumber cars. This is what BIKE BLAST is about.

Join your local 350Burlington community as we take to the streets once again, on Friday afternoon/evening, August 26, in celebration of bike riding — a sustainable mode of transport, AND to spread the word about climate justice.

The BIKE BLAST will begin at 5:45 pm just south of the Earth Clock at Oakledge Park. We'll start riding at 6 pm for a leisurely bike ride (with soundtrack) around Burlington, drinking in the long summer daylight. (Check FB: 350BurlingtonVT for alternate weather plans). We'll end up back at our starting spot, eat pizza and talk climate activism, and watch the sun set.
