I will be hosting a Dance / Benefit for my beautiful Cousin, Peyton Lanphear, this Sunday, August 21st at the VFW in Morrisville. A MINIMUM of $25.00 per person will be collected at the door. The Event begins at 11:00am with the "National Anthem" being sung by a familiar face in the racing community at 12:00 and lunch will be directly after. Mark Shelton 'ELVIS" of Newport will entertain us during the afternoon. There will be a raffle as well. The theme will be it's a checkered flag kind of day. Peyton is well known throughout New England and beyond as #22. Peyton and her Sister, Reilly, are the "Lanphear Sisters Racing Team". For those that do not know, Peyton was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma a few months ago at a young age of 21. I hope you will consider donating to help her family with the "out-of-pocket" medical expense that goes along with this terrible disease. Because this aggressive treatment that she is enduring will probably kill most if not all of her eggs, an egg was retrieved prior to her 1st treatment. This was an unplanned huge out-of-pocket expense. Her Father, Mark Lanphear, is the Owner of Duxbury Auto Tech. I will be writing a check to him during intermission at the event.
