This is an invitation to all youth interested in learning all about horses!!
Sentinel Farms Arts, Agriculture & Equestrian Camp is offering a full week of confidence building, out of doors, on the Farm, Horse-centered learning to begin next Monday, August 15 - August 19th from 9:00 - 3:00.
This week of camp will provide the confidence building base that will follow each child throughout their school year and will also equip each child with experience to see if they may be interested in joining The Young Sentinels after school program.
As program attendees progress through the foundations of classical horsemanship, they will learn all of the care needs of owning your own horse as they learn to ride.
The Young Sentinels after school program will meet once per week, throughout the school year. The particular afterschool day or days and pick up time or rides home will be decided upon after next week's camp and after program sign up, in consultation with student's parent's individual scheduling needs.
As many community members are aware, we have been looking forward to the official sign up for the Young Sentinels for many, many moons! Having completed the arena and the vast majority of farm fencing and working farm infrastructure work, we have finally arrived at The Young Sentinels sign up!
So much for Sentinel Farms and our supporting community to celebrate!!
In past years, many Sentinel Farms program attendees arrived at the farm by school bus, with the bus stopping right at the farm driveway!
Sentinel Farms is approximately 1,1/2 mile north of the Robinson School on the east side of 116.
