Our Community has been touched by leukemia this year. We are excited to offer the opportunity for folks in our community to participate in a Bone Marrow Donor Registry Drive. It’s a simple cheek swab that can enable anyone 18-44 years old to add themselves to the Registry and become a potential donor. It’s important to add more people to the registry because that gives patients a chance to find a matching marrow donor. Together, we can give hope to thousands of men, women and children who need a life-saving transplant, including members of our own community.
On the day of the Drive, Emily Packard, a student at U32 and East Montpelier resident will be bringing her American Canadian Tour race car to EMES for display. Emily is sponsored by the BE the Match national organization. She races throughout New England advertising this important cause.
