Calling all gardeners for help now!

In about six weeks (Saturday September 24), the Friends of the Bixby Library will host a plant sale in Vergennes. We would be grateful for your help in donating cuttings of your indoor plants and divisions of your outdoor plants. Donation times will be posted as we draw closer to the event but getting started now will provide the best yield.

Last year's September plant sale was a great success. How easy it is (and healthy for your plants) to trim and root cuttings of pothos, arrow plants, philodendrons, dracaena, spider plants, aloe and dieffenbachia (to name just a few). And we have some perfect days ahead to divide your outdoor irises, hostas, lilies, phlox, sedums and more. Think broadly!

We will also welcome lovely pots and baskets. All proceeds will benefit the Bixby and literacy. Thanks for considering this request!
