Author Ray Perkins , a retired middle school Social Studies teacher, will do a reading from his juvenile mystery novel "The Mystery of the Silver Statue" under the library's backyard tent this Saturday at 11:00. Follow the adventures of B.T. Stevens and Jimmy Martin as they solve a real-life mystery of Colonial Vermont.
