The Franklin County Natural Resources Conservation District is hosting an event about Drones & Water Quality on Farms.
Coming up on Thursday, August 25th from 10 am to 12 noon at Kent and April Henderson's House at 81 Town Common Road S in Georgia, VT

Learn from this demonstration project and workshop about on-the-ground efforts to increase the implementation of conservation practices to reduce agricultural non-point source pollution, improve soil health, and support farm viability by using Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) or "drone" technology to expedite and improve conservation planning, technical assistance, and financial assistance processes. Think about ways this technology could be applied to improvements on your farm or the landscape around you and learn how to connect with the drone team. Cohosted by the Franklin County Natural Resources Conservation District, Vermont Association of Conservation Districts, and Friends of Northern Lake Champlain.
