Farmhouse Flowers, located at 7166 Route 100B, in Moretown, has again agreed to allow me to display and sell houseplants, as they did last summer, in their Event Barn. Profits from the sales will be donated to the Capital City Grange, in Berlin, as part of their annual fundraiser. Rental income is the usual revenue source for the Grange and, due to the pandemic, this source has declined dramatically. Operating costs of the building, such as property tax, utilities, heating fuel, maintenance and necessary upgrades to the property have increased.

The plant sale will begin on the afternoon of Saturday August 6th, and continue through the month, or until sold out. Available plant species this year include Aloe, Begonias, Coleus, Cactus, Gardinia, Peperomias, Jades, Kalanchoes, Panda plants, Sedums, and several varieties of wandering Jews. Display hours are usually from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. every day unless a wedding is scheduled for that day.
