This Sunday at 10am at 880 Barstow Road in Shelburne, Nicole Carpenter of www.thebreathandbalance.com will host a 2-hour Breathing Awareness and Respiratory Stamina Workshop. Prepare to access your breathing, move your body, complete some breathing exercises, and discover more about how you breathe. Majority of this workshop will be based on Oxygen Advantage® breathing techniques, a breathing program centered around improving oxygen uptake or breathing efficiency through functional breathing training and simulation of high-altitude training to enhance performance. Everyone regardless of physical level is welcome. Dress to be outside and be prepared to do some movement. The workshop is free, donations are appreciated. Reply to Nicole to let her know you're coming or just show up Sunday morning at 10am at 880 Barstow Road.
Why breathwork? Breathing is the first thing we do when we are born, the last thing we do before we die. How we breathe impacts how we feel, move, and sleep. Our breath influences our nervous system and our overall well-being.
