Please join the Cornwall Conservation Commission for a workshop on identifying and removing invasive plant species, geared to people who want to get rid of them on their own property. Vermont F&W Habitat biologist Travis Hart will explain why invasives are harmful, show us how to identify them, and discuss the range of control methods available to landowners. Attendees will get a chance to try out some special hand tools such as the "Uprooter" and the "Extractigator" which can be used to manually remove tough invasive species.

This event will be held at Bingham Memorial School Playground, 112 School Road, Cornwall. Bring a chair if you would like to sit during the first part of the workshop. For more information, contact mdodge@middlebury.edu
