This year's theme of "Modern Art Animates Historic Grounds" spotlights our Open for Interpretation art project that has brought four talented Vermont artists to The Old Stone House Museum & Historic Village. At specific times throughout the day, you can meet the artists and see performances of their work.

With the price of admission you get FREE cheese from Jasper Hill Farm and Cabot Creamery Co-Operative, ice cream from H.P. Hood and cones from The Pick and Shovel and (for those 21-years-old and older only) beer from Frost Beer Works and Dirt Church Brewing Company along with hard cider from Eden Specialty Ciders. You can even purchase lunch from The Ladies Aid Society of Brownington or bid on pies from the region's best bakers in our famous pie auction.

On the main stage throughout the day, listen to the tunes of the Michael Hahn Trio and Just Havin' Fun with Debbie Hampson, Vicki Moore and Paul Whittall. For families with kids (and those without), there will be live farm animals, rock painting, field games, crafts, self-portraits on our living canvas and more. Artists will demonstrate the heritage arts, including rug braiding, weaving, spinning, felting, needle-point, knitting, paper cutting, basket weaving and caning and, even, beekeeping.
