Pop-up Venezuelan YUM-a-raiser at Drift Farmstead --- VFFS is partnering with a Community NGO in Venezuela that aims to connect more students to a sustainable, land stewardship & conservation future. Through a partnership project, Venezuelan and VFFS students will connect and learn about each other's cultures, through studying migratory bird patterns. The goal of this project is to help build a more sustainable & just future.
We will be serving a traditional Venezuelan dinner of Arepas (corn cakes) with black beans, meat, salsa, and cheese. Dinner will be very casual and we will share stories from Venezuelan native, Iraida.
