The Conservation Commissions is looking for some extra hands to help with the initial phase of transitioning a portion of the Town Hall landscaping to a more diverse and native pollinator-friendly habitat. We are looking for people to join us in digging up and re-homing the existing stand of day lilies that line the green between the Town Hall parking area and the shared drive with the Methodist Church. If you are interested, please join us at 5pm on Tuesday August 2nd. We will plan to work for a couple of hours and could use extra shovels or other useful gardening implements for the task.

The rain date for this work party will be Thursday Aug 4th at 5pm.

Our second phase of this project will involve installing some native plants, but we will likely hold off till the hotter part of summer has passed.
