Hello Vergennes! This Friday and Saturday July 29-30 approximately 2,000 individuals will gather in excitement and anticipation at the Sam Fishman Memorial Pool in Vergennes for the 2022 Champlain Valley Swim League Championship Meet! The Vergennes Swim Team (the Champs) is one of six teams within the Champlain Valley Swim League (CVSL) in Vermont. This year, Vergennes has the privilege of hosting the League Championship Meet. Approximately 800 kids, ages 5-18, will compete over two days using the swim skills they learned throughout the summer season. Our swimmers look forward to competing in a fun, family-oriented atmosphere for both individual and team titles.

We will have participants parking at VUHS and VUES. Please expect additional congestion around East Street and a busier downtown during Friday afternoon & evening and all day Saturday. We appreciate your community support. Feel free to stop by and cheer on your CHAMPS!
