Contra dancing is happening at the Capital City Grange Hall! Please join us for a great dance with Mary Wesley calling, and live music from Rebecca Weiss, Becky Hollingsworth and Gianna Marzilli Ericson, on Saturday July 30th.

If you haven't been to a contra dance, this will be a great chance to try it out! We welcome new folks to our dances, and you can come to an "intro" session about 7:40 with Mary Wesley teaching the basics, to get you ready for the dance starting at 8:00. You'll get a chance to dance with a variety of partners, and enjoy great live dance music! We charge $12 to adults, $5 for kids and low-income folks, and are happy to get $20 donations from "dance supporters" to help us pay the musicians, callers and sound techs well. The Montpelier Contra Dance is run by volunteers.

COVID details:
We are no longer requiring proof of vaccination, but we do require well-fitting, good quality N95, KN94 or KN95, or medical/surgical masks. We'll give you one if you need it! We also collect names and email addresses for contact information, just in case.
