Want some old fashioned, small town fun? Come to the Annual Cake Auction at the Georgia Plain Baptist Church on the corner of Plains Road and Middle Road in Georgia, on Saturday July 30 , 4 pm.
We'll auction off about 50 fancy desserts, mainly cakes all homemade by the ladies of the church.
A chicken barbecue follows , by donation.
Proceeds support the JMMY Center, our local youth center.
