GREENSBORO HISTORICAL SOCIETY(GHS) BOOK SALE AND ICE CREAM SOCIAL

Book Sale is from 10:00 AM- 3:00 PM
Ice Cream Social is from 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM

On Saturday, July 30 th the GHS annual book sale and ice cream social takes place in Greensboro Village. Across from Willey's store in front of Lyles garage. Hundreds of used books, including novels, mysteries, classics, biographies, books of poetry, cookbooks, children's books, books on history, gardening and travel books will be on sale by donations from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

On The Lawn, in front of the Greensboro Historical Society building (next to Willey's) from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the GHS will hold it's annual Ice Cream Social. Ice cream and toppings will be available while guitarist David Brahinsky plays folk music. Participants can view this years exhibit " Saving Land, Saving History: Land Conservation in Greensboro" along with the permanent Hill Family Exhibit. And GHS publications will be for sale.
