Hello fellow South Enders! My roommate and I are co-directors of Democracy Creative, a nonprofit community hub/collaborative workspace in the Soda Plant on Pine St. exploring the intersection between art and politics. Since April we've been hosting a casual discussion group every Thursday at 6 pm called Thought Club , dedicated to having open-ended group conversations about the problems facing our world and potential solutions to them. It's like a college philosophy seminar, but with no homework ;) We've had ~30 people come at some point but usual attendance is 5-10 on a given week. I'm constantly amazed at the quality and depth of the discussions -- it's a great way to really get to know your neighbors!
