Replacing Invasive Plants with Native Species in the Home Landscape:
Join us Tuesday evening, August 2 at 6:00 for an in-person presentation for local homeowners interested in managing invasive plants on their properties.
Marybeth Hanley, Consulting Botanist & Coordinator of the Upper White River Cooperative Weed Management Association, will be discussing common invasive plants homeowners are likely to encounter, and their ecological effects. She will also suggest methods of removing and disposing of invasive plants, with suggestions for native plant replacements.
This program is co-sponsored by the Rochester Public Library and the White River Partnership.
Programs will be conducted indoors or outdoors depending on conditions of the day. For everyone's safety masks are required indoors.
