July 4: Need Aid in Selling Lemonade

Here's how to help a good cause while getting a front-row seat on all the Fourth of July action at Volunteers Green after the parade. The Richmond Land Trust is looking for volunteers who can give an hour or two to help out in the RLT lemonade booth at the Green during the post-parade festivities. It's a fun gig, plus you'll be doing a good deed for Richmond wildlife, recreation and open space. Proceeds from the booth enable the Land Trust to pay property taxes, insurance and maintenance on our six nature preserves, and to conserve additional land, too.
