Shrewsbury, VT Meetinghouse Concert Series presents:
HERMIT HOLLOW STRING BAND
Saturday, July 30 at 5 pm
(raindate July 31)
VT Bliss food truck will be there as well as 802 ice cream pops sold by Pierce's Store.
Last year Hermit Hollow blew us away with their strong voiced, sassy female vocalists and we are happy that they are returning to Shrewsbury. Steeped in old time and traditional bluegrass music, and hailing from the downtown and hollows of Poultney, VT., the band features fine vocal harmonies and tight playing with Margaret Mug (Stand up bass), Jaime Lee (mandolin), Sam Merwin (banjo), Pam Burlingame (fiddle), and Andy Austin and Kimberley Carter (guitar).
Bring a cash contribution of any amount to support the musicians and the historic Meetinghouse. (88 Lottery Road). And a chair or blanket to sit on. Other options for payment are posted at the concert venue.(checks or Venmo)
PLEASE try to carpool and follow the directions by our parking team when you get there.
Do Not park in front of our neighbors' driveways or gateways to farm fields. Thanks.
