We start next week the activities associated with the 4th of July celebration with the annual Chicken BBQ. In many ways it remains unchanged from previous years.
On Wednesday June 18th the 4th of July volunteer committee will host the Chicken BBQ. The Sons of the American Legion will be toiling over the hot coals to bring you the excellent chicken that they make every year. Eastern Star will be providing dessert. The whole affair starts at 5:30 pm and runs either until 8 or when we run out of chicken.
The town has provided excellent support in years past and we are accustomed to running out of chicken so if you want to partake please plan on coming early.
Finally the excellent Town Band will follow the whole activity with their typical performance.
Come one, come all. Come young, come old. Come and have a good time with your neighbors and help support all of the activities that this funding supports.
