Hike Up Tinmouth Mountain on Saddle Trail Sunday June 15

Past event
Jun 15, 2014, 1 PM

Sunday might just be a beautiful day. It is cool in the woods and the trail is clear and well marked. The walk to the bog bridges and the lovely ferns is about 15 to 20 minutes from the NW corner of the school ball field. The hike from the start to the "Alien Landing Site"(rock ledges) is 45-55 minutes more or less and more challenging.

The view from there of the Tinmouth valley could use some more clearing, but is still very nice.

Meet at 1 p,m. in the school parking lot or go anytime and walk or hike at your own speed. I will be at the start from 1 to 1:20 to answer questions and then lead a hike at a moderate pace. Happy Father's Day. A volunteer project of the Tinmouth Conservation Commission.
