Please join us for the next two Sundays, July 24th and 31st at 10:00am, in person, at the Washington Unitarian Universalist Congregation. All are welcome!
On July 24th our speaker will be Dian Parker. Dian graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Dian is an avid gardener and oil painter and her essays, short stories and articles have been published in numerous literary journals, magazines and newspapers and have been nominated for several Pushcart prizes.
On July 31st our speaker will be Rev. Mellen Kennedy. Mellen is a Unitarian Universalist minister and a Sufi minister (Cheraga). She currently serves as the minister for the UU Church in Springfield and has a long history of serving as the WUUC summer minister. She is Co-Founder of the UU Small Group Ministry Network and teaches the sacred art of storytelling and extemporaneous speaking.
If you like to sing, our small choir rehearses some simple pieces at 9:15am prior to the service. Coffee, tea and cookies are served after the service.
