The Stuttgart (Germany) Hymnus Boys’ Choir is currently touring the East Coast. Under the musical direction of Mr. Rainer Homburg the boys are performing on this side of the Atlantic for the first time. The tour program consists of motets for choir a cappella, as well as works for choir and organ, including motets by Andreas Hammerschmidt, Heinrich Schütz, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Benjamin Britten. The great master Johann Sebastian Bach also may not be missed in a classical concert tours’ program.

The choir will perform in Burlington at First Congregational Church, 38 S Winooski Ave, on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. and in Middelbury at Champlain Valley Unitarian Universalist Society, 6 Cross Street on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at 6 p.m.
