Join June Brink at the Springfield Town Library for a wood-burning class.
Pyrography (wood-burning) is the art of drawing with heat. With this technique, you can draw designs, portraits, landscapes, lettering, and countless other images using a heated pen and a wood surface. Some images will be supplied.
June has been wood-burning for about 8 yrs. She started when someone gave her a beginner wood-burning tool that they no longer wanted. June never used one before but wanted to give it a try. She hand drew a simple design on a piece of scrap wood and tried it out. June immediately loved it! She practiced off and on for the next year, learning different techniques, and she ended up having a large inventory of items so she set up at the Unicorn Fair and sold everything that she had.
We are thrilled to have June do a class for our community.
Space is limited, sign-up is required call the Library at (802) 885-3108 if you have any questions.
