Hello Monkton Neighbors! Tomorrow Master Gardeners and other planty people are needed for light weeding and some plant and insect ID at the Quinlan Bridge in East Charlotte. We will be observing and photographing visiting/resident insects and animals, as well as, documenting the various plants on site. It would help if you download iNaturalist or SEEK on your smartphone, but certainly not a requirement. The Quinlan Bridge is located off of the Spear street extension in the town of Charlotte. Parking is available on either side of the bridge. This opportunity does qualify for Master Gardener volunteer hours.

When: Friday, July 22nd from 12PM (noon) until 2PM

What: We will weed unwanted plants and hopefully document what we have for both insects and plants.

What to bring: Please bring your own tools, consider shovels, weeding tools, and gloves. If you have a smartphone, please bring that too! Don't forget some water!
