The 350Burlington community will be taking over the streets Friday afternoon/evening, July 29, in celebration of bike riding — a sustainable mode of transport, AND to spread the word about climate justice.

The BIKE BLAST will begin with gathering at 5:45 pm just south of the Earth Clock at Oakledge Park, where we'll pass out wearable and shareable messaging about divestment from the Fossil Fuel Industry. We'll start at 6 pm for a leisurely bike ride around Burlington, drinking in the long summer daylight. (Check FB: 350BurlingtonVT for alternate weather plans). We'll end up back at our starting spot, and visit and talk climate activism over a potluck supper.

Bring your bike; a potluck dish to share; and a plate, fork and water bottle, and have a blast at the Bike Blast.
