Hi Neighbors - If you've wanted to try feltmaking, I hope you can join us at the Northeast Fiber Arts Center (in Williston) for the Intro to Wet Felting workshop I'll be teaching June 21; 10am-4pm ($55).

We'll cover the basics of felting around a resist which prepares you to make 3-dimensional sculpture or pockets, pouches, bags, and vessels. In this workshop you can choose to make either a slipper or small bag. I'll walk through the steps, and you'll leave with the basis from which to explore felting on your own or to join us for a more advanced upcoming workshop, like the Felt Vessel workshop in August or the Reconstructed Felts in October-- or for one of my Online Felt Workshops.
